  4. Works perfect. I was quickly able to add a contact to my SE T610 cell phone. And it worked with a photo I exported from iPhoto.

I saved the action as an Automator application to my desktop. Just drag and drop a file onto its icon and the file is transfered.

    Nice.

  6. Sounds bloomin marvelous but I just can’t get it to work. No matter what type of workflow I put it into, whether Predefined Device is ticked or not, it just whizzes round and round and won’t progress past that action. The Log just says ‘data conversion completed’ and that’s it. Help please?

Background: iBook G4 800Mhz, non-Apple BT dongle that works great with Nokia N70 I’m using. BT file transfer works manually from BT menu in Finder.

  14. Note – this fantastic Automator action only works on PPC computers – Intel Macs are, sadly, not compatible.

    Comment by Nick — August 27, 2007 @ 3:46 am

  15. As noted in the previous comment by Nick, this is PPC only. Today (2007-10-12), it is used in a hint on macosxhints.com – any possibility of somebody updating this?

I’ve attempted to do so in xcode, but I’m getting linking errors (and I don’t know enough about how to use Xcode to get it working).

  17. I have a intel based mac, is there anything like this that works on there?

    Thanks!

  18. I found on Mac os X hints this Intel version. It was not working for me when imported but perhaps restarting of Automator helped. It now works and push my images back to phone!!!

  21. This is not working with os 10.5, intel. I get: could not be loaded because its executable is not loadable.

  22. The intel version does not work under Snow Leo – OS 10.6. Says that it needs to be ‘universal’.
